Slow-cooked to bring out its natural flavor, Chicken Baeksuk combines tender chicken and a rich, savory broth. This wholesome dish is satisfying, comforting, and perfect for sharing.

1 pc
Chicken
1 tbsp
Ginger
2 tbsp
Garlic
2 stalk
Green onion
1 pack
Samgethang herb pack
Salt (to taste)

How to make it


Step 1

Remove excess fat from the chicken and clean thoroughly.
Step 2

Place the chicken in a large pot and add enough water to fully submerge it. Add green onions and the samgyetang herb pack.
Step 3

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the chicken is tender, about 1 hour.
Step 4

Place the minced garlic and ginger in a fine mesh strainer or tea infuser and submerge it in the broth. Simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavor without clouding the broth, then remove.

Remove the herb pack and season with salt to taste.
