One pot, tender chicken, and plenty of bold Korean flavor.
Chicken, potatoes, and vegetables simmer together in a savory, spicy sauce until tender and flavorful. Warm and satisfying, this hearty stew is made for sharing around the table.
How to make it
01
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into bite-sized pieces. Cut the onion and chili pepper into chunks, and slice the green onion.
02
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, gochugaru, allulose, mirin, minced garlic, and fish sauce. Mix well.
03
Place the chicken in a large pot and add the prepared sauce. Add enough water to partially cover the chicken. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
04
Once the chicken and sauce are boiling, add the potatoes first. Continue cooking until the potatoes are partially tender.
05
Add the carrots, onion, and chili pepper. Continue simmering until the chicken is fully cooked, the vegetables are tender, and the sauce has thickened.
06
Sprinkle black pepper over the top and drizzle with sesame oil. Add the green onion and gently mix.
