  • Dried seaweed, soaked and drained6 oz
  • Minced garlic1 tbsp
  • Korean soup soy sauce2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Beef, cut into small pieces4 oz
  • Water5 cups
  • Korean seasoning syrup (Yondu)2 tbsp
  • Salt

Recipe

1. Soak the dried seaweed in water until softened, then drain and cut into bite-sized pieces.

2. In a pot, cook the beef and seaweed with soy sauce and sesame oil for about 5 minutes.

3. Add water and Korean seasoning syrup, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.

4. Season with salt to taste before serving. Simmer it longer to draw out more flavor into the soup.
