1. Roughly chop onion, pear, and apple.

2. Add to a blender along with soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and corn syrup. Blend until smooth.

3. Place the short ribs in a bowl or container. Pour the marinade over the meat and mix well to coat. Marinate overnight for best flavor (minimum 2 hours).

4. Preheat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook the ribs, turning frequently, until fully cooked and nicely caramelized.

5. Garnish chopped green onion and sesame and enjoy!
