1. Julienne cucumber and pear. Slice kimchi into smaller bite-sized pieces if needed.

2. In a bowl, mix gochujang, Korean chili flakes, vinegar, sugar, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the sauce.

3. Cook somyeon noodles and egg. Rinse noodles thoroughly under cold water and drain well. Cool and peel the egg.
