Ingredients
  • Somyeon1 serving
  • Gochujang2 tbsp
  • Korean chili flakes2 tbsp
  • Vinegar4 tbsp
  • Sugar3 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced)1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil1.5 tbsp
  • Egg1 pc
  • Kimchi2 oz
  • Cucumber (julienned)2 oz
  • Pear (julienned)2 oz

1. Julienne cucumber and pear. Slice kimchi into smaller bite-sized pieces if needed.

2. In a bowl, mix gochujang, Korean chili flakes, vinegar, sugar, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the sauce.

3. Cook somyeon noodles and egg. Rinse noodles thoroughly under cold water and drain well. Cool and peel the egg.

4. Toss noodles with the sauce until evenly coated.

5. Place noodles in a bowl and top with kimchi, cucumber, pear, and halved boiled egg.
